About Erin Whalen

Erin spent 14 years as a professional actress and role player, particularly in medical education, before founding Compassionate Coaching in the fall of 2020. She uses her background as an actor, trainer, and facilitator to develop highly engaging programming that centers around giving and receiving empathy.

She feels called to fill the cups of bereavement and end-of-life professionals so that they can continue the beautiful work that they are doing in support of the grieving and the dying.

Erin uses her own experiences with grief, particularly her sister's death in 2016 and her lifelong relationship with anticipatory grief, to infuse her work with empathy and compassion.
