Eric S. T. Young is a sole practitioner with 30 years of experience in estate planning and probate and trust administration and litigation. He is a graduate of Harvard University and the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawai’i. Eric is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, and a member of the Judiciary’s Uniform Probate Code and Probate Court Practices Committee (“UPCC”). The UPCC shepherded the adoption of the Uniform Trust Code as HRS Chapter 554D in 2021. He has taught estate planning at the William S. Richardson School of Law since 2003 and was recognized as Adjunct Professor of the Year (Spring 2008). Eric was admitted to the Hawaii State Bar in 1992.
