You may notice a few things shifting around on the site when it comes to our Directories. That’s because we’re actively making improvements to the Buried in Work directories right now.
We’re rebuilding the system to be faster, more flexible, and more helpful for the people who use it most. Families searching for support, and the professionals ready to help.
Here’s what’s being rolled out. Some of these features are already live, and others are coming very soon:
- Listing Metrics, Powered by Google Analytics
We’re adding visibility into how often listings are viewed and clicked. This gives providers simple insights to improve their reach and impact. - New Buried in Work Directory Badge
Premium listings will now receive a Buried in Work Service Provider Directory badge. This helps families quickly identify trusted, reviewed providers in the space from your page. - New Directories for Expanded Services
We’re adding new categories to reflect the full range of after-death support. This includes professionals like grief coaches, clean-out services, and After Loss Assistance providers. - Podcast Listings, Now Easier to Manage
Podcasts are being integrated into the main directory system so hosts can manage their own profiles and keep listings up to date with less effort. - Franchise-Friendly Options
We’re simplifying things for businesses with multiple locations. You’ll be able to manage listings more easily and keep everything consistent. - Direct Messaging
Soon, users will be able to contact providers directly through the listing. No need to hunt for email addresses or web forms. - Listings Can Appear in Multiple Directories
Many providers offer services that belong in more than one category. Now listings can show up in all the right places.
