We’re excited to announce a major update for our Financial Literacy For Spouses program, and we’re proud to say it’s only the beginning.

As we wrap up our first Financial Literacy For Spouses class, we’re bringing much of this valuable information online for free, allowing anyone to get access to the knowledge and resources they need to manage their finances with confidence.

As women statistically outlive their spouses by an average of 5.8 years, many find themselves unfamiliar with managing bills and finances. And it’s not because they can’t… it’s because they haven’t had to.
Our goal is to equip individuals, especially women, with the skills and knowledge to feel empowered and prepared for the future.

Here’s what you’ll learn in the new Financial Literacy For Spouses Information Hub:

  • Module 1: Introduction to Financial Terms & Concepts + Organizing Your Financial Information
Start by learning the basics of financial terminology and discover how to create a system for organizing essential financial documents, so you’re ready for anything that comes your way.
  • Module 2: Managing Bills, Income Streams, and Budgets
Take control of your cash flow by tracking income, managing expenses, and building a budget tailored to your needs. With this module, you’ll be able to make your money work for you.
  • Module 3: The Importance of Account Access
Ensure you and your trusted contacts can access your critical financial accounts whenever needed. This module is all about securing access while protecting your information and making sure everything is in place for your loved ones.
  • Module 4: Avoiding Financial Scams and Fraud
Learn how to spot common scams, protect your identity, and safeguard your financial well-being. With the growing rise of digital scams, this knowledge is more important than ever.
